I like boas AND pythons :) Of course I haven't kept any personally (yet! hehe)... so we'll see if my vote changes after that :)

Looks wise, I really like the GTP -- but I don't think I'd ever want to own one :) They're so gorgeous to look at though!

Anyways, COLUBRIDS BABY Like hello, COLOURS! Sure there isn't money in them, but so what, there are so many columbrids of so many body types, habitats, personalities, feeding habits. Wow!
Beauty snakes, cornsnakes, milksnakes, kingsnakes, garters, ribbons, black rats, grey rats, leucistic texas rats! Oh my! Bamboo rats, mandarin rats, brooksi, chain kings, tangerine hondos. HELLOOOO!! Colours and colours to dazzle the mind! Even the lowly garter snake comes in amazing colours. Have you heard of Blais flames you guys, WOWEE!

I've got boids, big boids, pythons and boas alike, but colubrids baby. Sure they don't impress the neighbour, you don't need to fork out big bucks, it's not about status, it's about COLOURS!

They comprise of what? 2/3'rds (correct me if I'm wrong) of all snake species RIGHT ON!

These are the pen ultimum python, big black and irridescent. I tend to favor black snakes such as Black De Alberts, indigos, black milks etc etc So Boelens are the best of the best.

This is such a hard poll to answer! I love all snakes and to choose a favorite is quite hard. I have a python and colubrids at the moment but am planning to enlarge my collection relatively soon.

I guess I would go with pythons as my favorite if I had to pick, I like handling them more and my dream snake is an albino ball.

omg, i love pythons and boas, you should have put all of the above!! lol, or boids! :D I guess I shouldnt really vote cause well, i only have 1 boa ,and i have taken care of another boa species, but i have only taken care or ball pythons, no other pythons. So i guess, right now, i am going to have to say..................... I HAVE KNOW IDEA~ :D

I had two burmese, and they had no personality. Corns are much more fun to have and the variety of colors never ends.

I really like my ball!!!, but I've got a sand boa on its way b/c I really liked them too and then I got to play with some adult corns so I think I'll get some of those And I really like GTP's and red tails and bloods and..........

My favorite snakes are the Eastern Hognose Snake, Texas Coral Snake and the Speckled king. I have been lucky enough to catch 2 of the 3 but am still looking for the Hognose.

I know I'm weird, but I just love garters and ribbons. Awake during the daytime, fun to watch them fishing for prey, can eat all kinds of things, and pretty but not hyper-flashy.

Cheap to own, but I don't think of them as a trash or throwaway snake, I just adore them.

I like ... snakes! If it slithers around and sticks its tongue out a lot .. I like it.
It depends on my mood which is my favorite .. sometimes I like my ball 'cause he's got a cute puppy face and gives me hugs. ;) Sometimes I like my daughters kings 'cause they are zippy and shiny and feel like silk .. and like Katt says .. corns can be absolutely gorgeous (as can GTPs and amazons and balls and burms and .. and)
Actually .. upon careful reflection .. I have come up with a favorite kind of snake .... free !!! :D

My favorite in my collection right now would have to be either my male ball python or my male south florida kingsnake.

I only own one but I really love my Irian Jaya Carpet Python. Plus my friend has a really nice burmese and I dig the Dwarf Tiger Retics. But I have to admit that Brazilian Rainbow Boas are very nice.
