Well some of you know that I've been hashing out a styrofoam/fiberglass/epoxy enclosure plan. All the details are worked out but I'm having a pain in the @ss time lining up an epoxy suplier as I would have to order it from out of town.

So I had a stroke of genius (we'll see :D). Spray in box-liner. I talk to a local company today that said they would give it a go. I talked to the tech guy at thier head office who assured me that it sets up 100% solid so no worries about off gasing and no problems adhearing to the styro. And best of all I dont have to do it :). I'm going to assemble the enclosure at work tomorrow and give it a go.

Any thoughts or comment welcome

Let us all know if it works. In theory it sounds like a great idea.

Would you spray the box liner on the inside of a wooden enclosure?

nah I'ld just roll on some normal epoxy. The box liner is sprayed on in a boothe at 120F and setsup in 5 min. The point of this experiment is i light weight do it your-self(sort of) enclosure.

I ended up having to special order my styro as 1.5" sheets are only carried shiplapped locally and I want but edged which kinda sucks
