I don't know what 60 cm is.....lol. How many inches is that? Anyway, I have a corn I adopted from someone, I don't know her exact age. The person I adopted her from just said she was an '02 hatch. She is only about 33 inches long right now. I also recently acquired a young juvenile corn, not sure of exact age on that one either. I'm thinking hatched maybe early this year. He/she is about 18 inches long tops, maybe more like 16 inches. Mine aren't big.

I got my snake at a pet store and they said the snake was about 4 months old when i bought him and i have him now for 8 months (do the math lol). 60 cm is about 23 inches.

23 inches sounds about average for a year old corn to me.

the simple answer is they were probably just fed more osten

Genetics and individual variation play a big part. Also if you feed more often or increase size of feeders more rapidly. Ours get pinkies til their second shed, then have the chance to move up to fuzzies if they want them. Some are on adults by a year of age, but many are on hoppers - a lot depends on the individual - even siblings differ a lot,

Wow. I feed undersized for a while. I'm really freaked by regurgitation, so I always feed at or below girth. If below girth, I feed multiples. There's no real need to grow your snake up quickly, so you don't need a 3 - 4 ft corn at a year. I also don't like fat snakes, or fat snakes with short bodies. I find, I get a nice slim, but well portioned snake with the way I feed, course, they aren't as big as other snakes at the same year, but I don't find that affects them in any way.
