I was flipping through channels today and found this show. I think I remember hearing some things about it, but not sure where. Anyone here watch it? What do you think of it?

I like Rob Bredl, but I still think the show is a bit sensationalistic... he does still play into the "hollywood hype" a bit, like when he's free handling inland taipans (freakin' idiot... I don't care who disagrees with me on this one, but that's just fricken STUPID). But still, Rob has as much knowledge in his little finger as Irwin has in his whole body.

dont you guys just love how Stevy and his faithfull wife say "we recamend that no one does this at home we are trained profesianals(sp)" and then he turns away for a quik glance at something and his wife gets bit by a croc. It actually happend to.

Killer Instinct is a pretty good show. I'm sure I've seen them all. It's on OLN most days twice...around 6 PM Eastern and again around 11 PM (same show re-broadcasted). I may be off by an hour either way. Lots of good footage. A bit of the old Irwin show-off, but pretty good education all around.

Eh, I'd rather be out herping myself than sit on my butt and watch other people have all the fun. ;)

LOL

I found his show quite interesting. Have never seen it before, so was a bit shocked lol. But yeah, I like that it isn't like Irwin and playing to the camera in a childish way.

I love the show, wish they would make more episodes soon.

A lot of people like this guy, but I don't.

I don't like his handling methods at all. I find them a bit "tough love". Steve may do some silly things, but I've never seen him handle an animal in a way that seems like he's going to hurt it.

I really started to dislike Rob Bredl, when I saw how he washed off a mudskipper by shaking it in water instead of carefully pouring water over it. Poor fish probably got scrambled brains after that. Not that they have much to begin with.

I really like the show, but i do agree they need to make some new episodes. I saw a show the other day called United Snakes of America it was a national geographic special it was really good, even had stuff on herpetoculture and showed people walking through a reptile expo displaying all different types of snakes for sale.

lol how bout his "jigga" that he uses for pinning venomous snakes? that stick he smashes down on the back of their neck. it looks like their may be some sort of padding on the bottom of the stick (cant really tell for sure) but the way he just forces the stick down so fast and hard on the back of the head/neck cant be good either way.

I catch the show whenever it's on. Even though it seems a little 'staged' at times, I still really enjoy watching it. :)

It doesn't look to forceful when he uses his "jigga", there have been countless times where the snakes wiggle their way out from under it.

I agree with invictus aboout Rob free handling the inland taipans(sp?), it's quite irresponsible and stupid, but Rob certainly knows a lot about his reptiles and is a lot more interesting to watch than Steve. All in all it's a great show, I watch it everynight.
