Gorgeous baby Simon - the amel bloodred combination is so dramatic!! I really would like to produce some creamsicle bloodreds at some point - then it would be that intense but orange!

Holy crap Simon... now THAT is red!! Wow.... I think I need one :p LOL... are you going to have any babies this year?
Jen
Oh just to let you all know..
that photo is in no way alterred in any way. In fact personally I think that in real life the snake has a bit more red to that too....
Mary,
I know you're definitely into the creams~
But man....you really go to see those lavender bloodreds...makes my jaw pop right off.....don't look like much when they're young but once they become adults...it's amazing!
So I can be sure that your creamsicle bloodred project is going to be awesome too once you get the first ones out~~
MouseKilla,
Here is what it looked like 2 years ago

Jen,
LOL!
I had a male for sale not too long ago. No one in Canada wanted it..so it was sold to a guy down in the States...
I do have a pair of sunglow het bloodreds~ That pair will give me some amel bloodreds too but that would be in 2005~
I guess I shoudl have posted these pics before I put on my ad....but I had too many animals for sale so I couldn't post pics..or else it'll take forever....LOL

Wow!! that thing is screaming bright, I love it. It looked like a creamsicle as a baby, thats interesting how it changed.
Yeah orange snakes are my weakness, but I'm a big fan of red and yellow snakes too, as well as black ones...and any combinations of those colors in high contrast...Corns,Hondurans,Sinaloans, pyros, zonatas and blairs kings still make me weak in the knees, as do many albino and hypo animals..LOL
thanks for the pic Simon!!
Wouldn't a bloodred Creamsicle look alot like a good sunglow??
That one I got from you last year looks sort of like that.
she's getting brighter orange all the time

Roy,
I am glad that you like her~
Cause when I was taking the pics, the first thing I thought was....wow...Roy would properly like this...cause I really like it~~
Now for the Cream bloodred, not really. It depends on how muh emory blood it has with it. The more rat blood it has in it, the yellower it would be. As we can see from the albino emory rats, there are a lot more yellow on it. So with a really nice creamsicle bloodred, there would be more yellow on the orange mix.
That sunglow I sold you is really doing great for you. I am so happy about that. I did sell two females to you right? Post both of them sometime when you have time...~~
Invictus,
Well currently I don't own any lavenders, but I am in the process of making them as I bred my amel bloodred with my lavender this year so that I'll get normal het amel, bloodred, lavender. Breed those back, I'll get amel, bloodred, lavender, amel bloodred, opal, bloodred lavender, OPAL LAVENDER, and normal with hets~
But here are some pics from Rich Zuchowski over at Serpenco
Here is a hatchling lavender bloodred which personally I don't think that it looks that nice....
