properly upload photos?
I always get the error that the pic is too big.

In your photo editing software, size them down to 640 x 480, or a little bigger. Then compress the final .jpg file size to 200K, or so. That ought to do the trick. Took me a while to figure it out, just don't give up. Pix are one of the best parts of this hobby. No yawns about it.
