I've seen this snake called different phases. What is the real name for it?
Thanks.

So it is just a garden phase? Cause i've seen them up for sale for like $200/$300. They call them fire phase and other nonsense.
What would be a reasonable price to pay for one?
The albinos in the mail lol

It looks like a colored garden phase. I pretty sure that would be called a Halloween phase. You could expect to pay $100.00-$150.00. for it. There are a lot of variables that go into pricing also.
1. Would be what the sire and dam look like.
2. If it is CB, WC, LTC, CH
3. Believe it or not the sex is also a prime factor for some snakes.
4. Would be the age and condition of the animal
5. The last one is the vendor that has the animal for sale. Some vendors like to ask top dollar for some animals while other people have the same type of animal ask less. That’s just how they do it. There are other variables that come into play but this should give you the jist of it. Thanks Richard Welter

IB INKED:
Hmmm garden phase possible labeled a tiger garden phase. I think I saw something like that back a few months but ATBs are not my strongest suit. For some reason I am thinking mandarin madgascar tree boa but I could be wrong on that as well.
If I am right, hmmm albino ball eh, I could use one thanks.
Hear from you soon.
Cya...
Tony
If it's a young one, they will usually loose the red color in the gardens..

That is definitely a Halloween phase Amazon Tree Boa...obviously a young one, as the red coloration goes away with age.

Does the yellow in the face go away too, or will it keep some colour?
I guess it depends on the snake huh...
You mean the yellow eyes?
THey'll probably stay...

No, there are yellow markings on the head as well. That is a picture similar to a snake that I was considering buying. I have since bought it. I will take pictures of it and you can let me know what to expect. I suspect it'll just turn into garden variety, but input will be appreciated. Will post pics tonight.

I'm a network engineer and I can't figure out how to post a pic on this site.
Can I be smart and stupid at the same time?

Is there a 'for dummies' thread somewhere? "Now to make the letter CAPS, hold the 'SHIFT' key...."
