Hi there everyone:

Well folks time has come to exhibit oldest largest Dams.
Here you see 1 captive breed from a WC and 1 pure WC.
Both are at 3 year range and growing so nicely on frozen thawed medium rats. There are 2 others at same size and thickness but in shed right now so I normally do not bother them. Of all my boids, Emeralds I handle very little and try not to disturb to much. Other people may handle alot but I feel these snakes are so shy and so delicate I leave mine alone to mature and breed later. Considering my other boids get regular handling sessions the Emeralds get less. I love Emeralds, even though I am into boa morphs....when it comes to natural looking boas, Emeralds are my best and favorites. Collection now consists of 4.7 Emeralds.

Meet CUPID the pure WC.

TREVOR:

We have 11 ETBs, 4.7 ratio, and 3 are WCs.......only 4 are somewhat tigger happy meaning if I take them out these 4 are to curious for the face, but with ETBs, GTPs, and ATBs I am more than ready for their instinct.

Hey Tony!!! AT what age do you breed your males and females for the first time??? Also, what size of tanks do you use for your mature emeralds???

PHIL:

These are older than 3 years now but will be even older buy the time I set them up for breeding next season, males are 3 - 6 months behind them so all will be ready. I raised each of them from babies and are both resting on 1" dowels, so they grew up nicely for us here. When breeding comes around they will be put into a 4 x 2 x 2 cage with multi branches at different levels of comfort.

There are many things people will tell you and some are good and some are myth, and I am no expert but I believe this system will work for us if they want to breed there love pad is ready for them, lol.
