I knew she was gravid when she came in a couple months ago. I was just hoping she wasn't LOL Baby Pygmy Rattlers can be a real pain (so to speak). Well, today my larger female dropped 4 little babies and one unfertalized egg. They are Dusky Pygmy Rattlesnakes (Sistrurus miliarius barbouri). Even though it looks copper, that is a quarter for comparison in the pics. i checked on her last night and she was alone, tonight she has babies. The strange part is that 2 of the babies are shedding right now and one is in the blue. Everyone cross your fingers that they eat well for me and I don't have to Pinkie Press them. Even though I didn't want baby Pygs, I have to admit that they are adorable :D
