Hey Bearded:
have your vet do a fecal test.......beardies are prone to overgrowth of coccidia....a parasite that causes inflammed bowels leading to watery (& foul smelling) diarrhea...esp after the stress of transport & the show etc...
He will likely need a sulfa antibiotic

Good luck

how much would all this cost.

You'll probably have to pay an initial set up fee for them to open a file if you haven't had your dragon there before. It's not usually more than 25-35 dollars. The fecal itself is usually pretty cheap, somewhere around 12-15 and then if you need meds it's probably somewhere around 20 or so depending on what the vet gives you and how much. Your beardie should have a fecal done once a year anyway so it's good to find a herp vet now and set up an account. A 75-80 dollar vet bill is much better than a dead bearded right?! Good luck.

problem is we cant prescribe medication to an animal we've never seen
You'll have to ahve your vet examine the animal
bring a fresh (not dried out) sample of poop with you
(can be refrigerated for up to 12 hours) but fresh is best to check for coccidia
trust me it'll be worth it
