This evening on my rounds, I found my female Testudo hermanni deceased in her cage. There hasn't been any change in her eating habits, activity level, or defication/urination. She has been eating the same food as my other tortoises. I bought her a little over a year ago and was told she was young. The others who are just babies seem to be fine. I don't know what happened? I'm too sad to think about having a necropsy done right now, maybe in the morning when my head is a bit clearer.
RIP little one, I miss you.:(

Man that sucks. So sorry. It is always strange when a well eating rep passes. It might be better to know. Sorry again Jen.
Hey Jen
I'm with you today. We've been taking care of my niece's leopard gecko Skidder for a while and over the last couple days he just went down hill and I found him this morning, deceased, very hard thing to see, and think about. My condolences are with you. Hardest part is that my niece will be back in town end of Summer and I'll have to tell her :( Anyways, take care
-Dave
Sorry for your loss. You will eventually only remember the good things though.

Jen, i am so sorry to hear about your loss and my sympathies go out to you and your family. Losing a pet is something im still getting over, 8 years after my cat, Fuzzy died from kidney failure due to old age. it s true, after awhile, you do remember all those good and special times.
Speedy and Soup send out their condolences too.
Take Care,
Nicole
