The simplest and most inexpensive is as follows. Take a 10 gal aquarium (or rubbermaid) fill it 3-4" deep. Put a submersible aquarium heater with a thermostat in, set to desired temp. Cover the aquarium with plexiglass. Place a thermometer in there. Then all you need is some sort of rack (available at home depot) to raise the eggs out of the water. Simple and works very well.

ive never bred but im planning to someday. but neways, i dont think the eggs are to be in the water, the water is below for constant heat as well as for proper humidity

Definately don't put the eggs in water!

There is an example of how to build your own in this thread -

hope that helps,

Both of these seem great, I'll need to build one hopefully in the next 3-4 months for some JCP eggs.
I like the water bottle set up, how has this worked out for you?

Jungle eggs in November? Do you live in Australia, because that would be virtually UNHEARD of! LOL, J/K...;)

Definitely build your own guys and gals! What is available on the market is either sub-par or very very expensive. There's a ton of old threads here kicking around that show some very very good incubator setups.

Sorry, I meant 3-4 months for mating, not 3-4 months for eggs.

I don't want to wait for the eggs to have the incubator ready. I'll introduce the male sometime in November and get started on the incubator. Hopefully I'll have some use for it!

Do you cool your JCP's? Or adjust the daylight hours?
Temps here in FL are in the mid to upper 80's now. They should drop some where in the 70's by the end of October-November.

I cycle my Jungles yes. Not really cooling, like you would a corn or king snake though.

Check out this link. It has a lot of info on breeding carpets.
