Well, today I just came back from the greatest cottage on the greatest lake in New York, Loch Ada! It is a nice quiet area, with loons and herons, and the occasional bald eagle flying overhead. There are no motorized watercrafts allowed, and it is excellent for fishing. There are dreen frogs, musk turtles, painted turtles, green frogs, toads, snakes, etc.
I wasn't really looking that much for herps, but I found a red back salamander and lot of painted turtles and caught a green frog and two musk turtles.
But it gets better: Tomorrow at 4:00 AM, I'm setting off to go to San Antonio, TX for a little over a week.
Wish me luck!
Y'all have a good summer!:D

Wow! dreen frogs AND green frogs!!
Congrats on the musk turtles, I've spent hours and hours looking for them and never managed to find any. Do you have any pics?

Well we have an internet conection in TX. The weather is great! I actually had to wake up at 3 AM on saturday, and I caught two mediterranean geckos (which were all over the place at night on the house) and one green anole. Today I saw two texas spotted whiptails and two texas spiny lizards at Freidrich (sp) park. I also saw two juvenile scorpions and one mom with hundreds of babies. I took a few pictures, but the digital camera was filled, so I'll take a few more befor I post, which may me never because they're always over the size limit no matter how much I crop them.
The scenery is unbelievable and the food is great!
Take care y'all:)

Today I went to Sea World with my aunt and didn't expect to see anything, but I saw a lot of green anoles. I caught a texas spiny lizard (unfortunately I didn't bring the camera) and an anole, and I saw an adult anole eating a baby anole.
