Hondo Question

i have about a 1 yr old hondo. and its about 30 inches long. i have been very supprised at the speed of this snake. when it wants to it almost seems to have black racer speed. my question is do they slow down any when they get bigger?

They do calm/slow down a bit with age but still have pretty awesome speed potential. :)

i was affraid of that, man have to keep a close watch on these babies.

Handle him alot and we will mellow down to corn snake speed, don't handle him and he will remain at racer type speed as an adult.

Not that a six foot hondo wouldn't be cool at racer speed!..LOL..

ill tell ya if my snake stays this fast im gonna wish that there where snake races cuz i think id have a lock!
