reviews, like as if it were a movie as opposed to a species?
i have only ever kept one kenyan, but i liked him very much. i found the husbandry to be very undemanding. it seems to be a hardy and docile species. it is not true that this species is prone to shedding problems, so long as husbandry is appropriate, specifically in terms of substrate. i would consider this and easy snake to care for. some people have difficulty convincing them to take food off of tongs. i found that if i poked the sand for a while, the boa would eventually come to the surface, at which point he would happily take food off tongs. i have never attempted to breed this species, although i have heard that it is not difficult. as this is a boa, it will give birth to live young as opposed to laying eggs, so you will have to deal with the issues surrounding that.

sorry bout the phrasing.fighting to stay awake,so brain aint been too co-operative.thanks for the reply though!hope to give a pair a home real soon.is there any morphs?
There are a wide variety of morphs available, albeit pretty rare in Canada. These morphs include albino, anerythristic, snow (a combination of the 2 previous morphs), paradox albino, paradox snow, nuclear (line bred) and there probably are a few others out there.

Kenyans are GREAT, as long as you don't mind not seeing them. But they are docile (generally), hardy, and SO easy to keep it's ridiculous. Everyone should have at least one.

wow! theyre very impressive. especially the albino. i never liked albino kenyans, but the contrast on the nuclear albino is very appealing.
Hey there Roy if you ever get any over stock give me a yell (ohh to have a Stockwell line just the though gets me all fuzzy inside)
As for keeping kenyans i agree everyone should have one in thier collection! They are awsome feeders. easy to keep and how they hunt is just a thrill beyond exciting, the way they explode out of the chips to grab the prey rocks. Only draw back i can think of for them is that we don't own more yet. But an expo is coming soon i am told hehe maybe i can luck out and pic up 3 or 4 more.
