Drinks after the Red Deer Show BBQ?

I thought I would put out the idea of going for some drinks after the BBQ Saturday night (The 28th). I'm not too familiar with the city so maybe someone can suggest a place. I was thinking of a sports bar/pub type setting where we would be able to talk over the music. You know, just a chance to get to chat with each other in person, away from our tables and "customers". :)

Anyway, any thoughts or ideas are welcome! :D

Oh, and pass this idea on to other sSnakeSs.com members attending even if they are not vendors. :cool:

Where exactly is Red Deer?

It is in the southern Half of Alberta, Canada, about 150Km(94 miles) north of Calgary, Alberta. Alberta is the main province bordering Montana. HTH.

I'd love to go but I cant(under-age), and I would have loved to go to the BBQ but im not a vendor. LOL:(. O well, next year when I should have snakes for sale would work! LOL.:)

There is a fairly big BP's lounge on the north side of the river, that is really easy to find, i think it would do alright..

Last year we crashed his place. Its fine for going out there but a long drive back if you've had a few drinks. I am up for a few drinks in town if anyone else is interested.

Ok I missed this thread so I better step in now. For one reptile people do not like my place because................because..I have big scary hairy animals that are not reptiles and they are mean. Ya that's it. Plus I do know where most of you live. The other bad thing is I really don't think I have room for 50 vendors and their friends, lol. So sorry guys my place is out this year.
Any party crashers and I might throw frozen rodents at you to chase you away and charge you for them if you pick them up and run.

Im from Red Deer and will be attending the show if you smoke and want to be able to drink to then BPs, Moxies, Tiffanys all have smoking.non-smoking lounges in them or there are a few good pubs around Chillabongs, East 40th both are close to the show also will let people board at my place for a green tree python but you have to explain to the girlfreind. and the drinking age is 18 but take a cab the queens cowboys (rcmp) are harsh in this town!!!
