New York Snake Ban

I know this has been around before, but I signed this think a couple weeks ago and only a few signature have been added since!!

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO LIVE IN NEW YORK TO SIGN THE PETITION!!!!
And you dont have to live in New York to have this kind of legislation affect you in the future.

It only takes a few seconds to sign, and a few minutes to spread the word to another board/forum/website or anywhere else you frequent.

"Im sure everyone has heard about the NY snake ban they are trying to pass into law. Well a petition was started online that will be sent to the Govenor. Its going to take alot of signatures to make a difference. We all know what can happen once a few states manage to pass these "blanket bans" before long owning a reptile could make you a criminal."

the petition sat stagnant for over a week. A fellow herper and I have posted it across a dozen forums so far today and its climbed over 145
but it will need thousands to be taken seriously!!!

I'm confused by the wording, the main title says "We endorse the NY reptile ban Petition to Governer George pataki." But I don't endorse it, I don't want the ban.........I thought most people thought this was a bad idea?
