should be awsome linds
good luck
Cool project. I am going to work on one similiar. Just hope we don't run into some of the problems associated with breeding for physical characteristics. How big is your male?
Thanks! :)
Blazin,
I just measured her future mate and he is 9.5" @ 5 months. I can't foresee any problems with breeding for size so long as only strong specimens are bred - as should be the case when breeding for anything.
Cool thats big at 5 months. Well what I meant as far as problems is similiar to what dog breeders experienced when breeding for size ie hip displaysia, shorter life span, inadequate cardiac output and so forth. All we can do is try our best. Look forward to seeing those Giants!!

Hey, There
Thats an awesome gecko. Im working with a male Patternless and a female blizzard right now it should also be interesting
Nice Gecko Linds :)
Tim...... Hello, You may already know all this......but I thought I would explain it just In cace you, or anyone else didnt. :)
When you breed a Patternless to a Blizzard you will get all Normal looking babys...but, they will all be Double Het for Banana Blizzard. You will have to breed one of the male babys back to the female babys, when they are old enough, to produce a Banana Blizzard....Although the chances are low...only 1 in 16 is supose to be one. Whats cool though, is that you will also get Blizzards that are possible het for Patternless, Patternless that are possible het for Blizzard and Normals that are possible het for one gene or both. Yes, it does get interesting when breeding two different genes together......Have fun :)

Hey, There
I know this is a little off the topic but...
Tarzet thanks for the post! I did not know that piece of information. I was wondering what the babies would look like?
If you know please right.
Thanks alot
Your welcome :D
The babys will look Normal when you breed your Blizzard to your Patternless...but they will carry both genes.
If you have anymore questions please e-mail me at tarzet@pipcom.com
