Ok ok so its not till the end of October. But Im psyched and I was curious to see if anyone on here would be there, though I know its unlikely since most of you are in Canada. Also- this will be my first show, so what can I expect? Should I bring a wad of cash or do these vendors have little credit card slidey things? Are there any "scary breeder/vendor" red flags to watch for?
Anyone other than me gonna be there?

Hi, I normally go to pick up frozen rodents in bulk. Bring cash, as some vendors may not have credit card machines. The ATM was broken while I was there last time also. Cash in hand can be a powerful bargaining tool! Last year I dashed in at the end of the day on Sunday and only bought feeders (160.00 worth!). There were a few nice snakes that caught my eye, but my will was strong ;). What types of reptiles are you looking for? I saw lots of Boas, Kings, Corns, and other ratsnakes (no Asians though which is most of what I keep). It's usually a great place to pick up books too.

Heck yeah- it will be fun. But I need a ssnakess.com t-shirt so I can take those mysterious headless pictures everyone always takes of the shows ;)
Seriously, Im not sure what Im looking for just yet- still have a little time to decide, though. The thing I want most is an albino ball python, honestly, and female... and that would be a LOT of cash in hand. It also will depend on how pliable my husband will be about me buying things, but it's in the cards for me Im sure of it, and Id go even if I dont buy, just to see!
Seriously, if anyone is interested in organizing something, shoot me a PM, i'd dig it.
And snakefein, Im in Christiansburg. Not far from you at all.

Lots of Boa and python subspecies, (emerald boas, blood pythons and carpet pythons, to name a couple specifically I know are around) and a ton of colubrids. If you are looking for something else specific I could check around.
