View Full Version : veiled chameleon
My baby veiled stay under the UVB light more than the basking light, is it normal for them to do that?

I suppose? Maybe the basking spot is too hot and he just so happens to move away from it? I mean, chameleons are living creatures and move around ... maybe thats where is favorite branch is ..
I wouldn't worry about it at this point, unless there is unusual behaviour as well.

thanks for the helps, also he sometimes open his mouth, is that a sign of Respiratory Infections? The cage is always keep at 75-85 F during the day and low 70 during the night.
