A couple of days ago I saw that someone was asking for pics of different tank set ups. I have no idea where that thread was, but I thought I would post a pic of mine here. This is my first attempt at ever posting a pic, so wish me luck. If it works, the bottom tank has a Ball Python, the middle has a Red Tail and a Hog Isle, and the top has a little Burm. I know that they will out grow this soon, but I was rather pleased with the set up. Let me know what you think...

Hey, that looks AWESOME!! But how do they stay warm at night?

Thanks- The pics are actually a tad out dated, the internal decor is a bit more stylish now, but the set up is pretty much the same. Each tank has a heating pad on the bottom, and I'm located in Jacksonville, FL, the land of heat and humidity! They do quite well temp-wise.

Hi Jennifer,
I especially like the way you kept the lamps out of the terrariums and still are abled to warm them. That is a great idea. Don't know if it's your own idea, but I haven't seen it anywhere else up to now.
Great.

Why thank you. Yes, it was my idea.

normally we just put the lights right on the cages, but they're floresent lights, so not much in the way of heat is generated

In the begining we (my boyfriend and I) had the heat lamps resting on top of the cages. They just became a pain to move around whenever we wanted to get into the cages. I found out that the heat bulbs seem to last longer the less you move and rattle them around. So with this set up you never have to toucht he lamps, you just slide the tank out a little bit and do whatever you need to do.
Currently my ball python in the bottom tank has a respitory infection and she is in the middle of her treatment. We have a red heat bulb on her 24-7.
