From what i hear they are active mostly at night especially breeding season. And there loud! no clue whats bigger. try looking for there caresheets. they tell all.
I think you should definitely buy yourself a nice White's! They really are not that loud, and they are very easy to take care of. The ultimate beginner frog! Also, they are, if the most intelligent frogs, very close to it. So... buy one! Mine only costed me $16.00.

I would have too agree they are AMAZING frogs, they seem too develop a personality, mine is far from quite though, his croaking is one thing, but all night I hear him crashing and banging around in his cage he is quite active now and days. The trick too keeping them active is not overfeeding.

Aussies are rarer and more expensive than Indonesians if I am not mistaken. You can still get wild caught indos for dirt cheap, while Australias borders are closed to exportation.
If you have an aussie, or see one for sale, you can at least be guaranteed that it is cb.

They are great animals. during the day they are a giant blob but turn the lights out for abit and that'll soon change. I think the aussies get bigger but they are damn near impossible to get. Aussies and the indos have been cross bred for some time now...so its very hard to get pure ausies since they cant be be exported anymore.

What!?
I think you have the aussies and indos confused in this respect.
Remember, Australia has closed it's borders to exportation. That means that no wild caught animals can leave the country, which of course includes Australian White's. The cbs out there are most likely crosses, and all the wc available are indonesian.
