Nah, don't have a single one. I've heard they have to be kept at cooler temps than most milks otherwise they get stressed. I had a chance to buy one not too long ago but the temp thing had me concerned. I do know they are one of the biggest milks.

You are right about Andean's being one of the larger milks. They normally attain 60 inches. They like the colder temps because their normal range is at higher altitudes in the Colunbian Andes Mountains. The black tipping that is found on all andesiana is for gathering heat quicker in the cooler, higher areas of the mountains. A very good choice of milk snake if you can get your hands on one. The temperature range that this sub-species require actually make it a little easier than some of the more tropical milks.

Roy: Does the "Great Book" say what the temp ranges are for this sub-species in the wild?

Andesiana were all the rage about 5 years ago and used to sell for a grande US when they first started being produced by Steve Hammack in Texas, but the price fell like a rock until breeders could hardly give them away. The problem is they look nice as babies, similar to black milks, but are fairly unattractive as adults. They get all tipped up but don't blacken enough to look nice like gaigeae, they just look kind of "dirty". I think people caught on to this and figured its hard to justify keeping them when normal hondurans are way prettier. It's strange, I hardly ever see them for sale anymore since they dropped to under a hundred bucks.
Their husbandry is about the same as gaigeae, slightly cooler than Hondurans but hondurans like it cool too. I keep hondos and gaigeae in the same rack system but close to the floor where its a few degrees cooler
Hey Bubba I'm curious, what does the petstore want for Andean milks
