Hi! I do not keep any boas now but I am starting to save to add a pair to our collection sometime soon.

Personally, I dislike orange tails on boas. It's either RED, or morphs for me. Anyways I really like pictures of Anery boa's but most photos are of young babies.

Can anyone post some *adult* anery boa pics or explain what an anery will look like when its mature?

Yeah I went through a lot of anery pics last night. Thanks for those links.

I am not really sold on these guys. I really love the light grey and black they have as babies, but I am not so hot on most of the adults coloration.

I wish I could get my hands on some ghost boas! now THOSE are kick ***!

Yeah, from what I've seen they seem to muddy-up like typical Colombians do... yuck :( I know baby normal Colombians can look so nice and bright, but they usually end up looking the same with age :( Dan has some of the nicest looking babies (that I've seen), so I would try and track down some pics of his adults to see what they look like as mature snakes.

Yes! the "muddy" look is what I cannot stand in many boas. It's basically why I haven't picked out a type I want for over a year now.

You wanna see Aneries? Check out Jeff Ronne's "Ivory Pastel Dream" Aneries:

When I saw those, I almost had a coronary.

OMG Invictus THAT'S what I am looking for in anerys!!!! Holy crap are those ever hot looking. I am guessing these will hold more of their baby coloration?

They aren't that badly priced either. I would be MORE than willing to pay what he is asking (in US funds no less!) if his line stayed that beautiful grey clean color.

Here is a pic of my Anerythristic female that is 15 months old and about four foot in length. She has held her color very well. I purchased her from B.E.S.T. Exotics. IMO the Boaphile's Anery's are awesome but B.E.S.T. Exotics are even better and are sold with a much lower price tag of $350 US.

This is what she looked like at a few months old...

I heard they had another nice litter this year but I am unsure if they ship to the Canada. Good luck in your search for an awesome anery!

That's a really nice one! Definitly held its "clear" colors better than most I have been looking at.
