Just out of curiousity...what exactly is this used for. Just like a holding place while you do something else?

A catch box is used to transport venemous snakes without any hands-on interaction for supreme safety. Very useful for hots, especially excitable elapids!

672 got it pretty good :)
Basically for when ever you need to get the snake out of the cage and return him very safely for total cage cleanings, transport etc.
It's a better barrier than a bag and safer by eliminating the odds of an escape or hook climbing incident, going over/under shields etc.

Ya, a fang could get through the bag so the wood protects against penetration.

P.S. Why are you selling your sav and geckos, gonna focus on snakes?
