I have 1.4 of them and 1.3 are ready to be bred next year...
The one in the photo is the biggest, I have one that is really dark green~

Good luck with yours~!

Wow. Amazing pics. I'd love to get into these... Beautiful snakes.

What's the temperment like?

How much would you sell babies for, Simon?

Stephan,

The temperment are pretty nice on these snakes. Kind of like the corns. Maybe just a tiny bit more wild than corns. But definitely handleable~

This year I was asking $1100 each. Next year by the time I really produce them the price would properly drop~ Cause I am seeing them going for $1400US a pair this year~ So I guess I'll be adjusting my price on them too~~

Sounds reasonable.

I am leaving the country for a year and thus am in no position to acquire any new animals now. I was just curious because when I get back, I just might be. ;) I've always thought they were incredible snakes.

Do you know of any good resources for info on them?

Sorry...
I don't really know who has good resources for them...
I guess you can shoot me some emails and questions on them...I can definitely try and help out with that...but I personally don't konw any good caresheets for them~~

Would you say their care is similar to other rat snakes in any way? Or do they require more expert care?

Simon

Well as CB animals
the care is more or less similar to regular rats. The only thing that I would really make a note on is the humidity level and the amount of heat~

They would require a bit lower in heat and higher humidity level~ like most asian rats~!!

Sorry Kert~!
For hi jacking your thread...
