hey there friends,
I just snapped a pic of my beccari and prasinus as they smelled the food in the air, and are waiting to be fed. Pictured are both males, who will both climb out onto my arm to feed, and then calmly return to their enclosure after accepting an item. Well mannered for a tree monitor, heck, even my odatria don't do that... oh well, thanks for looking, just thought i'd share some pics..
take it easy,

you seem to have great enclosure and beautiful prasinus
What size are those enclosures? They look real nice. Those are some lucky beccari and prasinus.

Hi there everyone,
thanks for the compliments. Each enclosure varies a bit in size, as I had to fit them into my already dimunitive sized monitor room. The prasinus enclosure's probably around(can't remember exact measurements) 7'tall x 4' wide x 2'deep, and my beccari's is 7'tall x 5'wide x 2'deep. I also keep my macraei and boehmei in similar sized enclosures, with my macrae occupying the largest, since they are the largest of the complex. I am going to be rebuilding my boehmei enclosures soon, whenever I get some free time.
Each enclosure's walls curve towards the bottom(inwards), where water from the misting system, trickles down the wall into the water basin, where I simply open up a lever, and the waste/soiled water gets drained out. Easy cleaning.. I simply hose down the insides, releasing any feces or uneaten mouse parts from the leaves/walls/branches/cork, and flushes it down the hole... When you have a lot of animals, you have to think efficiency and effectiveness... getting in and taking cat litter pans out and washing them every day, is not my idea of efficiency...
Hope this helps give you a bit of an idea of how I have my prasinus complex animals set up.. thanks for looking..
