Since there have been a few updated diamond pictueres, i thought I'd post some recent pictures of ours.

Always trying to take better pictures, but these will have to do for now.

This is a 3 week old picture of the female diamond we got from Don in 2003. She had just shed, and really got some yellow to her. I will be taking pictures after she sheds next.

Here is our male that we got in 2002. He is much whiter than my pictures show, Katt - if you have them handy, can you post your pictures too?

We had always preferred the white ones as opposed to the yellow. That is, until our female shed last time. Both are really nice looking, and in 2008 should hopefully produce some babies.

We feed them 12 times a year. Every 2 weeks 6 months from spring and summer. For 4 months of the year they are kept 55 F at night, with a bit of basking spot for part of the day for most of the 4 months.

Very inquisitve snakes. Every time I put a camera to the male, he comes to check out the camera. Not bity at all, both are very docile and fun to handle. I like to take them outside to get some natural air, in a private quiety area behind the zoo. I will have to take some pictures of them in the sun sometime soon.

Thanks for looking

Awesome Diamonds! The male sure has a cool look to him. Keep the pics coming... I don't think I've ever seen this many Diamond photos at once on any forum.

I like both of them, they are great pictures, but prefer the one that Vanan likes best. I think I gotta find the white balance on my camera, or get photoshop :)

Oh yeah, that diamond isn't ours, that's Ryan and Sheila's (SCALES). We just took some pics for them.

Those are really gorgeous :)

Is there any good documentation on their care out there? There doesn't seem to be any diamon specific pages that I've been able to find.
But then maybe I'm just typing in the wrong search items :)

Cruciform - We've never been able to find much detailed info on the net either but here is a link to a paper by Stan Chiras on Diamonds... Some people love the Chiras method and some disagree but it's good info...
