hey,
well this has been bothering me for the past week, unlike jacksons or werneri the deremensis are born without horns and I have been wondering is anyone knows around what age you can tell what sex they are. I know they are sexable between 9 and 11 months. well thanks in advance.

by the spurs on the back legs is 1 way of telling
Actually not.... that works for veiled's and some other species, but not the deremensis.
I'd check the squamation on their heads... there should be very small horn buds on the males.
Cheers!

with all the offspring I have seen, none have horn buds. so I am guessing as you have told me, that in time they will slowly develop, just a geuss becausethis species has rarely been bred in captivity due to low servival rate of wc parents.

It's an educated guess on my part too... As you know I have conflicting information about them as well. Did you want me to post your question on the AdCham forum?
I will keep my fingers crossed that you have a boy in that trio!
Cheers!

Ya, that would be awsome. I really would like to know if there is any way to sex at the young age.
