I am curious of knowing what everyones adult geckos weight(well the big ones) are.

I'll start, I have an adult female high- yellow leopard gecko which is 9.5 inches long and weighs 85 grams:)

She is a perrty big girl in my opinion.

She has not been bred with but will be this season.

she is huge kevin .... just curious about something, most people say they try and get there leo's to 50g before breeding cause of the weight lose, yours being that much more, is there any health problems with a leo being that big, like bigger humans have?

Well when you see the gecko in real like you couldn't confuse it with a chuckawalla.....lol.

It is really healthy so I don't think she is obese, I just think she is a big leo......

I have 3 adult females.
My biggest is close to 10 inches, maybe like 9.5 inches, and she weigh about 85 grams.
My other two are about 8 inches and one hovers just under the 50 gram mark (she's a rescue I want to fatten up, but it's not happening..lol), and the other is just over 50 grams, maybe close to 55 grams now.

The large one has to be housed by herself since she knows she's big and kinda picks on smaller leo's.

As to the question of age my biggest female is 4 years old. Dont forget that reptiles grow pretty much for there whole lives.

So my leos will keep growing for 20+ years then? :D That would be one huge leo! They may gain or lose weight, but do reach full size (length, head size...) by 2 years. None of the above mentioned leos seem "verbally" obese, if they begin to develop ridiculous fat pockets then I would suggest a reduction in the quantity of food given. Otherwise, rock on!!!!! Remember, in the wild leos are quite lean. Though we are talking captive bred, one must remember that "genetically" they are not meant to be gigantic, but like any animal will become pudgy if fed too much, too often.

i have four adult leo's, one is almost 2 years, one is about 1.5 years and two are around 1 year and all four of them are over 65g......one even has a regrown tail that is half the length of a normal tail! the three younger ones have nice little fat pockets by there front legs but nothing bigger than what i've seen in other pictures......plus i can't really put the two youngest ones on a diet as they are in with 5 other leo's who's weights range from 30g to 45g........i go through probably 200 king worms every week to week and a half with my 7 girls.......they all eat like pigs! lol
