I have been thinking about breeding Ant-Hill Pythons for ever it seems and have been not done so primarly because they are not readily available and because it is very difficult t ofind info on them in captivity. Does anyone here keep them? What are the average clutch sizes? What are the times, temps and humidities humidities for incubation? Any other comments? So on and so forth.
Any reply would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You

Formerly known as the Perth python, the Anthill lays small clutches (2-5 eggs) & incubation at 85-87 F (29-31C) lasts 45-60 days. Incubation in high humidity of course is best & its pretty straightforward for all Antaresia. They get 18-23 inches as adults & hatchlings are appox. 7.5 inches (& really skinny lol) They go for $2,000 CDN pair as babies. Live & breed in termite mounds in the wild. Hatchlings in the wild eat small lizards so scenting may help problem feeders. Known to be very hardy in captivity once established. They "fade out" some as they age. NUFF SAID Mark
