Hi guys and gals,

I have a really strange question for you! I was going about changing the water ect, ect this morning in my girls tanks and lo and behold I found an unfertalized egg!! They have never been with a male and I know for sure I have two girls, so is this normal?? Has anybody else had this happen?? I want to breed them but needless to say I was vary shocked when I found the little discovery.
THanks for any advice you may have on why one of my girls dropped an egg.

they will still aly eggs even though they havent been with a male. even if they haven never been with a male in their life they will still occasionally lay some unfertilized eggs every now and then.

They're like hens ... they can lay eggs if there's a male or not.
Since you know the eggs are infertile, don't waste them. I usually feed them to the superworms. Make great guload.
