Thinking about getting a cham but I was just curious how often you handle yours.

They are not really for handling more for display..

You can handle it as much as you want depending on how tame it is. My male veiled can be handled once or twice a day, my female can be on my shoulder all day long. It really just depends on the individual.

I agree, my male can be out all day with no signs of stress (changing black) and is always bright green. I got lucky, I was working with one today and it was pretty nasty...just maek sure you know how to pick them out when you go to buy it :)

When I owned a cham it was very easy to handle but as soon as his hormones kicked in, he wouldnt let me go near him.

I personally handle mine very rarely. I use to a lot (daily) and I've been busy this summer and kinda havent in a while. It really depends on the chameleon and the owner. Mine are content on coming out whenever I try, and just as content with staying in their enclosure unbothered.
