Took some more pictures. I’ve posted some other pictures in the various snake forums also.


Started experimenting a bit. This one isn’t the best, but I like how his face is in focus. This is our male, by the way.

Look how the water sits on the snake. Katt new the word, rhymes with Habiscus or something.

Artsy fartsy is used in all well educated circles.

It's called a meniscus. It occurs b/ water is polar and is attracted to itself.

I still think, Katt's close-up of the Diamond is better. :D

Which would be due to its viscosity, correct?

No, viscosity is how "thick" a liquid is. The meniscus occurs in short because of surface tension. Put mercury in a test tube of water and you get an opposite (convex) meniscus. Its pretty cool.
