its been a month since he didn't eat..I think its because I switched him to rats..anyways..im feeding frozen food now, and everytime I show him a rat..he just doesn't care?!?! What can I do to get him feeding..

N.b:
1. bp+rat+small enclosure in the dark dont work at all (my bp is not shy at all ;p)

2. Small hide doesn't work...

3. moving the rat in front of him doesn't work

4. putting the scent of a mice on it doesn't work either?!?! But he can eat mice ( well I NEED to get him on rat..im tired of getting 6 mice a shot!)

HELp me, he his getting skinny
thx a lot

now im going to see if he ate his rat.

you might try giving him a mouse and following up with a rat while he's in eating mode

Was he eating live before??? You might have to switch him to live.

A month is nothing for a healthy sub. or adult bp to go without eating , and is normal about this time of year. If he doesn't look good you could always try assist feeding. just place the rat's head in the snake's mouth and set him down. This usually triggers a feeding response, and he should wrap 'em right up.

instead of feeding 6 smaller mice in one feeding why not just buy bigger mice?????

a friend of mine has a gorgeous 5 foot BP named Bacon, he is a mice snake because of a nasty experience with a rat..... if you snake likes mice, keep it to mice...it took me 6 months to switch my BP to rats , but i breed my own mice for my small BP and my Pac Man frog.......
