my pacman is around 3 inches long now, he eats lots of crickets, i just started feeding him super worms and he had his first hopper the other day which he ate very easily. i really truly hate crickets and i was wondering how much longer i will have to feed the devils to my frog?

Crickets are for the most part, an inevitable food source for captive frogs. Feeding a sole diet of rodents and superworms will not be a healthy diet because of all of the chitin (in the superworm shell) and the cholesterol and fat levels of mice which can lead to obesity and blindness (fatty deposits around eyes).
When your Ceratophrys gets larger, it will not need to eat very often. I give mine 5-8 crickets twice a week. This may not seem like much, but these are fairly low-octane and inactive animals. They are sit-and-wait predators, and do not move around much.
Good Luck

I feed some of mine fish as well.... they are excellent fish eaters ... I typically feed my Rainbow Variatus platies ... just because I breed the platies and have plenty of them ...better than goldfish.... my adults eat small rats occasionally as well

Roaches can substitute crickets in a reptile's diet. They are easy to keep/breed and can be fed as a staple. Lobster roaches are meatiest and only get about 1.5" as adults. There are also varieties of roaches available that do not climb glass such as discoid roaches. If you cannot find anyone that sells them nearby, there are several suppliers that are willing to ship.

Keep the fish down to a minimum as well. Especially stay away from goldfish, as they are high in.... to put it short..... crap, among other things.
Good call on the roaches by the way. I'd like to get my hands on some lobster roaches. They are great for dart frogs too as I have heard.
