Here's my 4 1/2 year old, Tyger with his new cornsnake. He named her Princess.

Here is the enclosure he helped setup...

And here's the snake...

I had a few of these "motley-ish" babies hatch out from this clutch. Tyger picked out a nice girl. She'll be the most tame corn in the province within no time! lol :D

It's amazing what a good snake keeper he is at such a young age. He knows a lot already and he's not even in kindergarten yet. He's gonna be quite the herper when he's old like his dad. :D

very nice Tim, kids are all born naturalists i think, both my boys love the family reptile collection and actually enjoy helping out any way they can. That corn is awesome, wouldn't that be considered an aztec pattern morph?

kids are naturals at that kind of stuff, my youngest daughter at the age of four would go into a pet shop with me, and be nameing the snakes using there scientific names, the look on the clerks face was hilarious, he probably didn't even know what she was saying, around the same age I was sitting at the table sexing some corns, she was helping me out(holding them and getting the next ready for me and stuff) when one bit her, you would not believe the smile on that kids face, for months she was asking me if she could get bit again....too cute, wish your boy luck!
kids are great!

I too think the snake looks Aztecy or zig zag in nature. Cool anyhow. It won't be long until Tim's barking orders from the easy chair "Did you finish cleaning all the snakes yet? How about feeding?" etc etc LOL Cheers Mark

That's a very cool looking little corn Tim -- love the zig-zag-y pattern! And, I just have to say -- your kids are absolutely adorable! LOL... It's awesome to get them started so young, my goddaughter has been fascinated by the herps ever since she started walking... every time she's over she wants to hold the "nakes" and geckos...

Very nice indeed.

Its always good to go throw generations in our hobby and even more when your own children show a love of the hobby.
