Here are some pics I took tonight of the eggs I have incubating. Some of the eggs are really clear, and I can see almost everything going on inside.

They aren't the best pictures because I was in the pitch dark holding a tiny flash light in one hand and trying to hold my cam as still as possible in the other, but they do the job. :P

They were laid on June 3rd, and should hatch before or around August 1st I am guessing.

Hey, how'd you get those GREAT shots??? Did you have to turn the flash off on the camera??

Cool!

Yep. No flash, but with my crap cam when I have no flash you have to be literally 100% STILL or they come out quite blurry. It's annoying. But yes no flash and tiny mag lite.

The two top ones that look "brighter" are changed a little bit in photo shop to show the viens and such, the last bottom photo is what they look like without editing.

How long is the shutter speed set for or is it all automatic?

Thanks!!

Very impressive - I have been wondering about trying some similar shots to show the difference between clear eggs and those with veins for people who ask about candling. Wonderful examples! Thanks for sharing,

Jeff- It's all automatic. I have the option for it to be me picking out those options, but it's always on auto :P
