Our GTP finally shed off all his old skin. The hydrated mice really helped. He/she looks great. We took it out tonight for a little while, then he had a couple small mice.

He's looking awesome Marisa! :D Definitely got some more green coming in now....

Out of curiosity, where did you find the plastic flanges that you've got holding up his perch? I've looked at several places, and all I've found are metal ones... not so helpful :p

WOW, looking good Marisa!!! He's about as far into the change as mine is right now. Bet you can't wait to get him in that enclosure. When u interact with him do you wear gloves... ?

Bowels- We picked those up at Home Hardware here in Ontario. I have also seen them at dollar stores, and Home Depot. I won't have anything BUT removable perches.

Chappy- Gloves if we have to help him with a shed or what not, but we just take him and the entire perch out normally, and he doesn't bite too much at night, and rarely at all during the day. But he is by no means "trustworthy"

:P

Here are a couple better photos I snapped today after his mist (I always take photos after misting his/her cage, it always makes things easier for pics)

Excuse me.... "hydrated mice" is that a trick I'm not aware of ? :)

If a snake as trouble shedding giving him an hydrated mouse helps ?

Is it, wet or very wet ?

Cause I usualy heat my mice in hot water so they are wet most of the time, but do you wet it more than that ?

Maybe I've been doing it all along without knowing it helped shedding :)

Thanks.

WYZ- Not wet mice. I take a needle and inject water into the mouse before feeding. It's helped TONS since I started doing it.
