Within the next 2.5 years I hope I can get some of these amazons up to breeding size and speed. This first one is a male.

It's nice Jeff getting bite by something with a small head. It's a son of a $%^$ getting bit with something the size of a staple remover. Thanks Richard Welter

Fantastic ATB's. Great to know someone is working with such beauties! Looking forward to their babies. I'm beginning to like ATB's more than their green cousins.

Hey Katt, why don't you ask Rob to tell you who sold me my first pair of amazons.
Ok Rob, who sold Richard his first ammies?
Go on, go play with your dull and unimaginative cookie cutter green snakes. Rich and I can stick to more colour and interesting snakes.

O.K. Katt the story goes like this. I had a golden tegu and traded it for a red/purple 6ft male amazon. I had a very good idea she was a female because of her size. I went to Rob's house, we sexed it and it came out female. Then I noticed he had a 1.1 killer looking pair. After some smooth talking he sold them to me and I have had them ever since. Rob and I both agree on this "Amazons are the poor mans emeralds" Anyway I will post a picture of all three animals together. Thanks Richard Welter

Here's the picture I was talking about. This is how I caged my aboreal snakes in 2000-2001. I am glad to see I have different cages now, and I think the snakes are happy with that to. Thanks Richard Welter

Ha ha Richard, that's why Emmies are NOT for the faint of heart, LOL!!
Great pics! :D
Poor man's emerald?
You do not deserve those beauties! Give them to meeee TO MEEEE!!
Ammies have a lot more going for them in terms of interesting breeding projects. C'mon, tiger ATB's, all black ATB's, patternless ATB's, calico's, all the colours of the rainbow!
Emeralds have what? Some green, some white and a high price tag. Boring. :p

Hey Jeff I will tell you this, I have been biten more by amazons then I ever have with emeralds. Even at night my emeralds don't get very nasty like everone thinks. I walk by my amazon cages and all I hear is "thud" My black phase white lip pythons don't even bite as much. Hey Katt if you get the chance come to the Red Deer show. I will be there and I will have around 20 aboreal snakes with me. Thanks Richard Welter

Funny thing about that female Trevor is I have another one that looks just like it. That females has some black spots on her also.

Really Richard, you don't say. If I thought I could afford her I'd ask but since you might say yes I better not.lol
So I have a gravid garden phase right now. It's my first time breeding them and both were (still are I guess) unproven. What are my chances at getting some of the coloured ones?
Cheers,
Trevor

You have hoserea? You lucky guy!! I like you even more now!!
Can't wait to see you snakes. I saw them at TARAS, but was too shy to show my poor broke self to you.
