How can I increase the humidity level in my viv? :confused:

If the snake is not in shed, don't. Corns don't need any humidity to thrive in captivity, and if they are too humid fortoo long, you are risking blisters or respiratory infections. If the snake is in shed, give it a humid hide with some moist sphagnum moss.

yeah, you can do that or give it a slight misting

My snake is going through a shed right now only he is shedding in pieces. I tried to 'soak' him gently in some lukewarm water yesterday and he totally freaked-out. So, I put him back in his viv and lighty misted the his enclosure with water. I don't know what else to do.

See response to your other post - but sometimes the water bath will scare them - damp towels work better in my experience.

Also - the water may have been too warm for him - snake body temp stays around 84 degrees which will feel cool to us because we are about 98 degrees - if the water felt warm to you, it may have been too warm for him.
