Its a jag sibling? I didnt realise they had proven that the normal siblings would breed out. I think most breeders are just refering to them a sibling or nice normals. Its a nice looking snake. The pot plants are cool too.
Read the first 2 posts in the how to gallery and post us a nice big picture of him.

How can it be het for hypo Jag when Jag is a DOMINANT trait? LOL!! Derrick is right.

As stated there is no such thing as a het for Jag, only Jag siblings. Mark

Thats...uhhh what i ment!

I don't mean to butt in but I do not see where he stated it was het for Jag. He merely stated it was a Jag sibling. Jag Sibling s are not normal by any means...many exhibit far more color than typical Coastals and they can also begin their ontognetic color change far sooner than typical carpets. There is much to still be learned here. No one knows enough to be truly correct about this.
You all will have at least a bit of the sibling puzzle solved for you shortly.
I must say that the Jaguar trait/s is probably the most complex trait/s ever to exist in the world of herpetoculture and the complexity of it will not be figured out for a few more years to come. Perhaps the jag siblings will prove to be carriers of some kind of trait, perhpas one not even related directly to what we all know as the Jaguar "look". There is much specualtion that there is more than one anomalous allele involved in making a Jag. Perhaps there are many. It is still too early to tell and speculation only breeds inaccurate information.

Yasser, can you NOT SEE that right under the title and date for the thread that it says "Last edited by Chau0046 on 07-07-04 at 10:24 PM"??
But there must be something funky going on with the siblings, because a lot of times, they DO look BETTER than the actual Jags themselves!!!

Of course there is the theory that they are all just hybrid "mutts" anyhow heh heh : ) Mark

Hmm. Got any seeds for those plants? They'd look very nice sitting on top of the enclosure I'm building :)

Where did you get your jag sibling, I am thinking of getting a male jaguar but can't find them in canada, I was going to get some from JBC in Norway but would prefer to skip the shipping if possible, if you know where I can get on in canada write me back at John.janson@sympatico.ca. Thanks, and ya the sibs look really nice too, and until someone gets a chance to breed them together we will never know if they are het or not.

Well if all goes well i`ll have a female jag sibling this fall and will see what happens in about 3 years.....long. For now i`ll be breeding him with a large female this fall for now. We`ll see what comes out!!!
Seeds?...i dont play with seeds. Thats a cross of First lady/Grapefruit and if you think it was crystaly, then you should`ve seen it 2 weeks later when they came down.:D
