Just curious about breeding loans and how they work..

I am just wondering how breeding loans work, if anybody has what was the experience like? Any feedback would be great...thanks

just to make sure are you asking about taking your snake to a breeder to have it breed?

i took my female albino gopher to the person i got her from so i knew them and her breeding history as a friend they took her, used their male, they feed her, let her lay and hacthed out the eggs. best deal i could get with out having the male and haveing hatched out and incubated eggs before. they took half of the hatched eggs and i still got first pick of the hatchlings. made me happy don't know if this how it works for anybody else though.

With breeding loans you either send your animal away to be bred or someone send an animal to you to be bred. In Canada the offspring are split 50/50. You need to be very careful with breeding loans since the animals cannot be quarantined for a period. You have to be very sure the person you are doing the loan with is trustworthy and has impeccable husbandry/quarantine procedures to protect yourself and your animals.
