Alright, at about 1.5 to 2 years, how long should a California King Snake be?

It depend how much at what size your feeding the snake.

Like Kevin said, it depends how often they are being fed, temperatures, food type... lots of things...
I would say about 3 feet long... ??? I'm not too sure. I've never measured my Cal Kings! lol
If he looks healthy, has good muscle tone (not too skinny, not too fat) and has a good appetite, don't worry about AGE vs SIZE. :)

To give you a rough estimate my cali king is 1.5 years old and 31 inches in length

Yeah, I believe my cal king was around 36" at around 2 years.
Also depends on the genetics of the snake. I have a one year old at around 30". But, I also have a 4 year old that's only at 36". So, you can see how much it can vary from snake to snake even within the same subspecie ;). Like Cranwill said, if it looks healthy, that's what really matters :D.
