Hey everyone. I'm so confused about fruits, veggies & crickets. I am trying to make veggies the majority of my beardies diet. However she is getting tired of the same greens. I can't blame her, I get tired of the same thing after one day. I know no spinach and no lettuce, but what greens can she have and what fruits. I had the Bearded Dragon book but I lost it ... I mean I missed placed it :D. Any suggestions or other questions to help with my post is greatly welcomed. Her name is Rynn and she is about 3 years old.
Thank you!

swiss chard, endive, collard, kale, mustard, turnip, sweet potato, greenbeans, carrots, snow peas, squash, okra, most fruits except citrus fruits like orange, lemons, and grape fruit, mine love kiwi, mango, watermelon, strawberries, raspberries, blueberries things like that. Plus there is more that i can't remember right now but if i had the produce market in front of me i could. lol

I personally don't feed many apples or grapes. Well apples never and grapes very seldom.

I'm sure more people will comment.

Thank you drewlowe, I was really hoping you would respond. I knew you'd know what to feed her. This makes how many times I've needed your advice?

Thank you again!

Your right beardiedragon. As drewlowe knows, our dragon is handicapped. We got her from a reputable breeder (so we thought) over the IE and she didn't get enough calcium when she was first born. I took her to an exotic vet (who by the way is very good) here in Tennessee and he said that she probably wouldn't grow anymore and that her front legs would never straigthen out. Well she has grown and no her front legs haven't straighten out, but she has learned to climb and run on her forearms. She is SPOILED ROTTEN by my husband. She use to eat for me, know she'll only let him feed her and she MUST be hand fed. She's got him wrapped right around her little leg. We love her to death and only want what is best for her even if she is spoiled to the core.
