This is no doubt a very basic question but what is the best substrate to use for hatchling Leos? Thanks.

Yup paper towel is the best thing to house leos on. Hatching or adults.

I use no substrate for neonates to avoid food hiding. I do provide hides made of a folded piece of paper, food and water bowl. These are made of small lid and a cut marg container

Thanks guys. I'm used to dealing with giant pythons, not extremely small lizards. I've got a friend that breeds Leopards, and he gave me a pair of his hatchlings. Very cute. One's a normal and the other a jungle, but I can't tell the difference. They're cute, and amazingly small. We're looking forward to watching these guys grow.
