ball python on cool end?

is it normal for a bp to stay on the cool end all day?

Two reasons that he could be spending all his time on the coold side:

1- The warm side is too warm

2- There isn't a hide he feels comfortable enough in on the warm side

you might want to have a second hide box in the cool end and then the snake will go where it's comfortable.
don't forget with that heater and depending on your lights your snake can get a little warm in there on a warm day

as long as your warm and cool ends are with in acceptable ranges you don't have to worry about where your snake goes as long as it stays in the tank

my ball does that sometimes, but I think its all normal, because he will go back to his hide log to. So, it might just be normal too.

How old, what sex, what size cage, what are the temps, there are lots too consider. If she is a mature female she could be building.
