My sister is on love with Peanut and insisted I give her a kiss....lol...not a chance of me getting any closer than this though!

She shed today and it was nice out so I took her outside for a few pics. I tried to induce her into her "light" phase by making the room pitch black for a while but it didn't work...lol :p Too bad the sun didn't shine at night!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Chris F.,
All hogs vary in degrees of lightness throughout the day, but typically they are not this lightly coloured. This is (surprisingly) not even her very lightest phase, this is her medium-light phase.

Those are some really nice pics of the snake

As for kissing the snake, you should have seen when my dog tried to lick our guyan, he learned quick not to do that again

She is gorgeous. BTW I've read many opinions on boas that say keeping them under broad spectrum light can heighten their color and make them brighter. I'm considering trying that myself. Has anyone here tried it for their boas?

Thanks for the kind words! ;)

Tay,
Broad spectrum lighting does not brighten the snakes colour itself, but brightens it for viewing and photography. The colours in the light just bring out the colours for filming/viewing just like natural sunlight will. I don't use any lighting for my boas since they are all living it up rubbermaid-style :p LOL...hope that helped, I don't think I did a great job of explaining though :p
