...I told the wife that "Jack" probably wouldn't eat because last time I checked he/she looked like it was in shed. We offered anyway, "Jack" ate NO problems. That was Friday. Today, Sunday, I was cleaning enclosures out and I found a perfect shed. I thought the stopped eating during shed? Not that I'm complaining or nothing : )

I think it is generally a no no because the added meal will make a snake lethargic, and when about to shed the snake is real itchy and and the two combine and make stress?

I guess I should be complaining then "Jack"ate his/her first meal, a rat fuzzy backwards, then took down another rat fuzzy while in shed, then with in two days had a perfect shed. Sorry but after all the stuff I read about balls not eating for weeks, months I'll take it. BTW if it was stressed wouldn't it just pass on the meal?
I may be wrong if a ball is willing to take a meal shouldn't I let it?

I agree, if it eats..keep doing what your doing. Thats what I believe.
I was going to place my guy into a rubbermade because I was told they eat better and all around in general do better in them, but my guy eat steadily so im not touching or changing ANYthing.
just my opinion
