Hey everyone!

Well, today when i got home from my trip from calgary, i ran upstairs to my room to check on my leo eggs and found that 1 clutch was pretty dry, but the eggs werent shrivled or anything and i was wondering if they would still hatch if i kept them moist from now until their due date.

Thanks,
Ben

If they are not all moldy and colopsed in on them selves then I would try to save them. Just keep them moist and they should rehydrate. But avoid the urge to over moisten them you don't want them to mold.

Thanks

Take a couple of sheets of paper towel fold it up so that when it is placed over the container it will be like a lid but it wont touch the eggs then moisten it and sqweeze EVERY SINGLE DROP YOU CAN lol out. Then place it like a lid over the container and that should help.

hey everyone!

Today when i woke up the inc temp was 85 and it wasnt the right temp i wanted it to be so i adjusted the rheostat to what i thought would make the temps 88 (there are only 8 numbers and says higher or lower on the rheostat so i didnt know what temps it would produce until later) and after i finished brushing my teeth the temps were 98!!!!! i quickly opened the lid n aired out the inc till it was down to 86 and i adjusted the temps 1 more time. Now im wondering if the eggs r even still alive! should i toss em?

Thanks,
Ben

Again if they were mine I would keep them till they were obviously dead if they arent completly dented in ot moldy they could still hatch. I just hate to give up on anything.

Thanks

ive seen some crazy pictures of eggs with poo and mold all over them because the mom defecated on them and they ended up ALL hatching. So keep them until they reak and cave in.

but im afraid of producing a deformed baby that i will eventually have to euthanize. Id really hate to euthanize one of these cute little fellas.
